About Me & What I Do: A warm greetings! I’m Bobby Bavongkhoun and I’m the Battalion Commander (BC) for the 2022/2023 school year! Prior I was the S1 for two years and the XO for the previous year. When I’m not hogging all the paperwork, I find myself to be indulging in my hobbies. I’m a huge gamer but I also do a lot of creative activities such as drawing, video editing, photography and much more! I am more than willing to lead you all in helping create a memorable, fun, and impactful program to pursue your passions and help you grow as an individual and become inspirational leaders!

About Me & What I Do: Hey y’all! My name is Davis Pfister and I’m going to be the Deputy Commander for the coming year. I oversee the staff operations regarding logistics and supply, public affairs, and finance. I assign tasks to each of the staff officers, as well as check progress to assure all work is done efficiently and on time. Outside of my staff work, I was chosen as the drillmaster of this Battalion, and have been focusing on marching drill for every year I’ve been at Kearny. I am the Armed Drill Team Commander, I’m on Varsity Color Guard, and I’ve participated, led, and taught rifle at every level since I joined as a freshman. I know a lot about leadership and I’m really excited to pass that knowledge to you. Overall, I’m very excited for what’s in store, and I think this year’s going to be a great year. I look forward to working with all of you guys next year, especially those of you who happen to be a part of the Armed Drill Team.

As XO, I'm in charge of overlooking staff duties and making sure that the battalion runs smoothly along with the rest of the staff team. Before becoming XO, I was S-2 which I was in charge of creating risk assessments and helping with scholarship search. Besides being involved in JROTC I'm also in Girl Scouts, Kearny Swim team, and Wahupa Upward Bound. When I'm free (which is really rare), I usually like to draw, listen to music, or play video games. I am open to having a conversation with anyone at any time!

Favorite Team: Academic Team
Favorite Event: Weekly Staff Meetings
About Me & What I Do: Hello hello! My name is Jack Hankins, and I will be your S-1 for the 2022-23 school year. As the S1, I handle most of the paperwork for events and cadets as well as managing JUMS to make sure all the information is updated and reflected correctly. Funny story, I never actually filled out a Staff Application form and was appointed personally to the position of S1 by our former AI, 1SG Rice. For that I am grateful, and will do my best to make sure all the cadet info is reflected accordingly. On another note, experience wise, I have been involved with Charlie CO for two semesters, with the latter serving as a Platoon SGT. I’m also involved in Scouting, run Cross Country, and Swim in the spring.
