On Saturday, April 21st, our Armed and Unarmed Drill Teams represented Kearny in the 2018 Exhibition Drill Competition, hosted at James Madison High School. This event allows cadets to represent our Battalion by showcasing and exhibiting out skills through rifle spins and steps. Our participating cadets practiced hard and did their best to give an outstanding performance. It was also a good environment for cadets from different schools to interact with each other. Thank you so much for those who competed!
- c/2LT Sunga Hello cadets! If you are interested in becoming one of our Joint Brigade Staff in the next school year of 2018-2019, please fill out the documents attached below. There will also be a document attached about the Joint Brigade Staff Positions as well as their duties and responsibilities. We encourage cadets to consider serving in our District Joint Brigade Staff. **Please note that you must be an incoming senior (a senior in the School Year of 2018-2019) in order to apply.** On Saturday, April 7th, our very own Raiders team competed in Cadet Challenge, a SDUSD Joint Brigade competition which took place at Hoover High School. The Raiders team went against athletic teams from twelve other units in our school district. Our competing cadets participated in these categories: push-ups, sit-ups, basketball toss and relay race. Despite the competitiveness of each cadet, it was a very social and spirited atmosphere. Thank you so much to those who competed!
