This year, our Academic Team made their way to Washington D.C. for the JLAB (JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl) Championship. The first two levels of JLAB, leading up to the championship, consisted of being tested on JROTC, SAT/ACT, and current event related questions. Having rose into the top three percent of the competition out of thousands of JROTC schools from both across and outside of the United States, our team won their way to the nation's capital. There, our team went head to head against many other teams on a much wider variety of topics and questions. Congratulations on their achievement!
-c/CPT Yochum During the summer, many of our cadets participated in the annual Junior Cadet Leadership Camp, commonly known as JCLC. It is a great way for cadets to bond with one another and helps focus on leadership development, confidence, and problem solving skills. Some fun organized events that were featured in this event included an obstacle course, rock-climbing, and more. We hope that more cadets join us for this fun activity next year!
