In the midst of the holiday season, the SDUSD Joint Brigade is partnering with Kearny High School to collect donated goods for those in need. From November 1st to December 6th, please join us in donating canned or non-perishable goods. Such goods can include canned fruit and vegetables, canned sauces, applesauce, peanut butter, crackers, rice, beans, granola bars, etc. The company that collects and donates the highest average ounces per cadet will receive a surprise!
-c/CPT Yochum On Tuesday, October 22, and Wednesday, October 23, 2019, eighth graders from our local feeder schools, Montgomery and Taft Middle School, visited the Kearny High Educational Complex to see what we had to offer. During both events, our JROTC cadets conducted campus-wide tours and showcased the many benefits associated with joining JROTC. With the Archery Team in session, our very own Army Instructors explained the purpose of JROTC and how it can support their path in high school and beyond. Thank you to everyone who participated in these events! We hope that next year we get to see those familiar faces in our program!
