On November 14, our Battalion had our JPA inspection. The JPA Inspection was an evaluation of our Battalion through our Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP), Service Learning Project (SLP), Cadet Portfolio & Interviews, and much more! Our Battalion achieved a 96.6%, allowing us to retain our Gold Honor Unit Distinction Star! Congratulations Komet Battalion!
Hello cadets! As you may know, Cadet Ball is coming up. Each unit (school) that is attending the event has their own Royal Court that consists of a queen, first attendant, and second attendant along with their escorts (who must also be a Kearny JROTC cadet). This year, selection of the Royal Court will be based upon LET level, grades, and paragraph about themselves. The female nominees will be voted on by our Battalion's cadets.

State Escort’s Name (Must be a male and in the Kearny JROTC Program) *Email Must Be Submitted by November 29, 2019 by 11:59 PM On Wednesday, October 30, our very own Academic Team competed against Crawford High School and Morse High School for the 3rd round of the Academic League. Our team placed in 1st place with 90 points. Crawford High scored 35 points and Morse High scored 85 points. Thank you for those who competed in this round!
